Help with timberland boot replacement/alternate

I’ve recently been looking for a brown, leather, everyday boot.

Ideally it’d have some moderate weather resistance, but not required.

I really like the aesthetic of the Timberland originals pictured (not the yellow chunky classic). However, I’ve read a lot about Timbs quality being lower in recent years, it doesn’t have a Goodyear welt so lots of people have said the sole will wear off, and I’ve seen issues with seams/etc. breaking early.

I don’t intend to put insane wear on the boots, but I would prefer something higher quality/more durable than some of the 1star reviews of the Timbs indicate.

Has anyone had positive experiences with Timbs recently? Would these be a terrible purchase? Or anyone have any suggestions for this type of style? E.g not super bulky/chunky, sole on the thinner side, relaxed vibe (e.g no super pointy toe).

I tried the Thursday Hero, which I like but not sure I love. Thanks for any suggestions!
