Got the nostalgic itch for Ragnarok Online, what game is the most similar to it?

Ragnarok Online (RO) was first released in 2002. While it followed a classic formula and there are certainly lots of similar genre RPGs out there, I really liked RO’s aesthetics, job class systems, lore, character building, and simple gameplay.

I could spend hours doing quests. Collecting headgears, cards, stories. Sometimes just gathering ingredients to cook or chill with my pet. Something about that game just soothes my need to collect and hoard.

Sometimes I try the copycat remakes that Gravity churns out, but they deteriorate in quality and doesn’t quite scratch the itch.

Any suggestions?

I think cooking oil is often forgotten in the nutrition talks, but generally it is something we consume pretty consistently.

Mine is currently Rice Bran.

I use oil spray so I can control the amount. Decent oryzanol and healthy unsaturated fats.
