I was fortunate to receive some sod from a utility company after they tore up my front yard. I've had it for months and it's been doing well--green and bountiful grass. After being away for a week, in the midst of below average rainfall, I came home to this. Are the lighter areas dead grass? I have been watering it since I got home, but I'm just curious if that is pointless. I'll take suggestions if there is hope!
