Has anyone’s child had the MMRV whilst unwell?

Hi all

Just wanted to know if anyone’s baby has had the MMRV vaccine whilst unwell?

My 13 month old is meant to have his tomorrow, after already having them postponed twice due to illness. Lo and behold he is unwell again and is on antibiotics for an ear infection and inflamed tonsils. I asked the GP about it and he said that it should be okay to go ahead as long as he doesn’t have a raised temperature on the day.

I am a little reluctant to go ahead tomorrow as it seems a lot for him when he’s already unwell but I am also reluctant to keep pushing it back considering the importance of these vaccines.

I just wanted to ask anyone’s experience to try and help me make my decision.

Thanks.

Can the pancreas have pancreatitis like ‘grumbles’ after previous diagnosis?

Hi. I’m 30F and have 2 previous diagnosed pancreatitis attacks at age 17 and 18. It was deemed idiopathic and never properly looked into again which was frustrating considering I was young, healthy, didn’t drink etc.

Anyways, I find pancreatitis pain to be wholly unique. I’ve never ever felt anything else like that pain in my whole life. I’ve came here asking about “grumbles” as I call them as at different points of my life since my diagnosed episodes I’ll have really short periods of the same kind of pain which will last about 10 mins or so then go away. Every time it happens I panic thinking I’m about to have a proper episode. The most recent was last night. It woke me up at about 4am and the pain was so intense I had to keep moving myself side to side and practically hyperventilate to get myself through the pain. It subsided and I’ve been fine all day since. The pain has stayed away when eating also.

Is this something that can happen or could it perhaps be something totally unrelated and I am just confusing it for pancreas pain?
