Any thoughts on Jake Schnatter buying back his crashed Lamborghini from Insurance?
On November 2nd 2024 (he mentioned in his video, at 4:40), Jake Schnatter bought his first supercar, a 2015 Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 in Verde Mantis (Italian for Green). My dream car is also a Huracan LP610-4 but in Giallo Midas (Italian for Yellow). He did a lot of modifications to it, but sadly a little over a year after he bought it, on November 16th 2025 (date seen on his 24h merch "The Fall") he crashed it. Thank God, Jake and his friend Vlad were completely fine, but he couldn't buy it back immediately because it was a supercar, so he had to wait 5 months until an auction day happened, and then bought it back. I first got shocked when I first saw he crashed it, then I got shocked again when I saw that he bought it back. I've been watching Jake's videos for about a year and a half now and I'm happy the Lambo's back. It might take him a year or more to rebuild it, but it will be back one day. He might spend $100k+ to rebuild it...
The modifications:
- Forged carbon wing and rear bumper from 1016 Industries
- PPF (Paint Protection Film) and roof wrapped in black
- Front lip and side skirts
- Valvetronic F1 exhaust (lasted 2-3 months, then he put a twin-turbo kit on it)
