Psychedelic Experiences Help Understanding of Pain

After 3 + years of progressing pain I feel very disconnected from my body. Compounding adjustments in how i hold and move myself leave me hurting more and feeling weaker. I have forgotten how to use the appropriate muscles to walk, bend over, do anything, without hurting my body, which has made it incredibly difficult to work and take care of myself, physically and mentally. Im sure this resonates with most of you.

Yesterday I took mdma and 2cb with some friends, and the experience has reframed my pain. I spent a lot of the time exploring my discomfort, through stretching, masaging myself, sprinting and jumping, pushups, etc. Trying to find the extremities of my body that have become gradually less comfortable and accessible. I feel like I better understand where my pain comes from, how I can work towards being in less pain in ways that won't feel overwhelming my body or brain.

In the past, coming down from drug experiences usually came with discomfort or pain, but using the altered cognitive state to confront the physical discomfort was a big learning experience.

Does anyone have similar experiences?
