They should really revamp the “Most popular” category
I mean, it’s kind of ridiculous that the category, from top to bottom, is just littered with already free to play games like Warzone, Fortnite, Rocket League, Overwatch, etc…
I miss when this category somewhat resembled the games that were currently popular in Game Pass. I feel like a lot of missed opportunities for games to reach a wider audience happen because these popular title spots are just permalocked by the same 15 games, while sometimes a game like Clover Pit or something will sneak in there.
Why not just have a Trending section, at the very least, to help showcase the games being added to the service that are actually resonating with the players?
It used to give a normie like me some insight as to what new or indie games might be worth checking out. Just a dead category now.
