TradeDistrict is a desktop application that scrapes real-time buying opportunities from free public sources (Craigslist, BizBuySell, LandWatch, GovPlanet) across 30 US cities, automatically scores and ranks each listing using a configurable algorithm, and presents everything through a polished local web UI running inside a PyQt5 window. It covers six asset categories — real estate, businesses, vehicles, land, equipment, and general goods — and gives users tools to filter and browse listings, pin them on a map, save searches, watchlist favorites, track deals through a Kanban pipeline, set follow-up reminders, detect duplicate listings across sources, and view analytics charts on their dataset, all without any subscription or API key required.
