Hi everyone,

I’m 20 years old and currently in 4th semester of BCA. Today I got my first job offer and I was honestly really happy about it.

The job is in telecom/sales, timing is 10 AM to 5 PM, and the salary is ₹12k per month. They also said I can earn around ₹15k to ₹20k if I bring enough leads.

The thing is, when I told my friends, they said I shouldn’t do it because managing such job with BCA studies could become very difficult and the pay is sooo low i should look for something more better. They think I might regret it later or even mess up my exams.

I’m not planning to stay in this field forever. I mainly wanted some experience, independence, and extra income while studying.

Now I’m genuinely confused. Has anyone here managed college and a full-time-ish job together? Was it worth it or did it affect your studies badly?

Hi, I’m considering joining JNU for MCA because the fee structure and academics seem really good. However, I’ve heard mixed opinions regarding campus safety for girls, so I wanted honest feedback from current students or alumni.

My qualifications: Currently pursuing BCA (4th semester).

I’m especially curious about hostel safety, campus environment, late evening safety, student culture, and whether female students generally feel comfortable there.

I’m not trying to spread hate or stereotypes, I just genuinely want realistic opinions before making a decision.
