How practical is storm windows

Own an old home with many old windows and there are noise and dust polution in the area which need attention. The option of demolising old ones came up but will be too big of a project and too disruptive.

I am thinking about adding another decor skin to the existing using the storm windows similar to what seen in north america. Maybe a polynframe and clear plastic sheet ot a real aluminium window. I heard they are good with sound proofing and insulation property.

Anyone have done it in Oz? Please tell me if this could work and any pros and cons? Thank much in advance

I am looking at one of those Chinese brand to be honest due to budget and a try-first-invest later approach. I was told the top ones are LED glasses and OLED are not as good(?). However with my $300-400 range there are mainly OLED

I am using to mainly watch movie and there are few jargons I wish any expert can help me what to look out for to keep me using the new gadget with joy because the first major headache from it , the whole experiment will fail.

Not sure if this can work so i come here to ask if you have done it.

It is a 26" mountain bike and i remove the front wheel, the rest cushion , then wrap the remaining with cardboard box metrial trying to keep the whole thing as flat as possible.

Will this work for the airline or will i be subjected to addition cost? Anyelse i could do?
