Just wanted to share my MBA results story
“ I believe that everything happens for a reason
What if the reason is that I am not good enough”
This is something I wrote for myself on 30th April when IIM K announced it’s results and I had an unconvertible waitlist. I couldn’t believe it, because it was one of my best interviews and I was so confident that I am going to get it. After this rejection, I didn’t know what I was going to do. And when I was feeling down I also wrote this.
“Tomorrow, I promise I am going to get up again
But Today, Let me lay down and pretend
It’s gonna be alright
Everything’s fine
My dreams weren’t shattered
I just need to go back to the grind”
The funny thing is I thought I’ll complete this later when more rejections will come. Because if one of my best interviews turned into what could be considered a rejection, what’s the hope for the rest of my calls.
But then one week later I got the mail from IIM Lucknow aka my best call and I converted it. My interview was pretty average and I was so unsure about the result. I must’ve read the mail at least ten times with disbelief. I guess interviews are really unpredictable.
