**1Anime has actually been around for 2 years.** We know, you probably haven't heard of us — and honestly, that's on us. Last year was rough. We went through a lot of downtime that killed our momentum and kept us off most people's radar. It hurt, but it also pushed us to rebuild stronger.

We're past that now. And we're ready to be what we always wanted to be: **your new home in everything otaku.**

**So what is 1Anime?**

Not just another aggregator scraping the same three sources everyone else uses. We built and maintain **our own video sources** — similar to how Aniwatch operated back in its prime. That means more control over quality, availability, and reliability on our end, and a better experience on yours.

Fair warning: since our sources are still growing, some older titles might not be available yet — but you can always **request them directly to us** and we'll get them added.

**What's already in:**

- ✅ A clean, fast interface built around actually watching, not surviving ads

**What's coming soon:**

- 📖 **Manga** — anime AND manga, all in one place

- 🔄 **MAL, Trakt, Simkl, Kitsu, and more** — if you track your watchlist somewhere, we want 1Anime to plug into it

- 📤 **User uploads** — submit missing episodes, newly aired anime, fansubs, and more directly to the platform

**A heads-up on ads:**

We'll be transparent — we're currently **testing different ad formats** on the platform. We know ads are a sensitive topic in this community, and we're not trying to bombard you with pop-ups and interstitials. If something feels too intrusive or ruins your experience, **tell us.** That feedback will directly shape what stays and what gets removed. We'd rather find a format that works for everyone than lose your trust over it.

**Why we're posting:**

We didn't get the attention we deserved early on, and we're not going to pretend otherwise. But we've been building quietly for two years and we genuinely believe 1Anime can be something special — if we listen to the right people.
