Our garlic appears to be having some very serious issues. This is our first year and I know we made a mistake by using the store-bought garlic cloves, but these seemed to be growing fine and then randomly they just started dying back. We didn't really fertilize them but there is a granular fertilizer in the soil. Trying to figure out where we went wrong. We planted in early January and we are in zone 8b(southern NM). We did have the garlic in the fridge for a while to simulate the cold months.
