Hi all, I'll try to make this brief. I'm in the market for a used Jeep and have been saving up to try to avoid a large monthly payment. Current budget is about $30k and I've saved up half ($15k) for the downpayment. I have a credit score of about 770 and plenty of established credit history, etc

I was planning on getting pre-approved before heading over to CarMax but am having trouble getting approved for some reason. I've been turned down twice (online) for vague reasons and am waiting to appeal so I can get more info.

Am I going about this wrong?
