My fantails goldfishes eye popped and no amount of googling is helping!!!!!

I put him in a hospital tank with methylene blue and an airstone, i did a 50% water change in the main tank and idk what to do from here.

I dont have kanaplex bc its not available where i live and i dont know how long to keep him in the methylene blue.

can i put him in the main tank? is he going to be okay?

i can add a picture but im too scared to hold him rn.

update : it was his healthy eye that popped, not the one that was cloudy
