▲ 6 r/braces

Can someone help me objectively make sense of this? My son got braces, has good hygiene, and has not been eating anything banned since the one instance of diced carrots. I have no real explanation for why this keeps happening and the office is saying it’s probably things that I believe he isn’t doing. Here’s the timeline…

• February 18: Braces placed.

• February 19: 2 brackets popped off. 2 more popped off during chain replacement (Total: 4). Staff noted it was probably due to high chain tension.

• Late February: 1 bracket popped off (diced raw carrots).

• Early March: 1 bracket popped off (cereal in milk).

• April 22: Started rubber bands.

• April 28: Bracket popped off on the specific tooth using a rubber band - they told me it wasn’t likely the rubber band but possibly him picking at it (which he doesn’t do)

At this point I don’t think they believe us and I’m at a loss
