Anyone ever recover from an exposed implant without needing a further surgery?

We’re going to try stitching it shut and wait and see.

ETA: if I’m being completely honest, I am just mourning the loss now so when I go back in 2 weeks if he pulls it I’ll be less impacted by the decision and can then just focus on healing and waiting.
