We went to the vet earlier because last night my dog had bloody stool and was also vomiting. I had him tested for viral diseases (the test was done at 5:30pm PHT UTC+8), and the vet said the results were negative. They also did a CBC and fecal test and said he has a parasite—possibly from eating something very dirty outside.

But when we got home (around midnight, when I was about to throw away the trash including the test kit), I noticed that the used test kit they sent home with us had developed a faint line. Is this normal, or does it mean my dog is actually positive?
