Just finished my second year and got much lower grades than I initially wanted, and ended with a 2.88 this semester dropping my overall gpa to a 3.4.
Now this isn't a big deal and isn't the end of the world because I know that in the long run GPA doesn't matter as much and that a 3.4 is still pretty good. I'm just a little bummed because it was such a large drop, and it was due to being sick for several months this semester, a lack of motivation, and overall increase in difficulty in all of my courses.
I was just curious how hard it is to increase your gpa, because from my understanding each semester gets harder and harder than the previous one. I'm in aerospace engineering if that matters. How hard would it be to maintain/increase this GPA for my last two years? Is it a realistic goal to want to graduate with a 3.5?
