I have sparrows vising my balcony, where I have 2 parrots in a cage. they eat whatever falls to the floor and just hang with them. today I've seen one carrying little twigs and pieces of paper, and I think they want to nest there. how can I set up a place for them? would a straw basket work? we rarely go into the balcony, and the far corner would be quiet enough, there's a "shelf" on the wall that is pretty high, but it's smooth, I doubt they can build directly on it. by the color I think it's a house sparrow.
