I’d rather not have this game turn into halo or apex. Even cod black ops series where at close range most guns require 5 shots to kill. For context- that’s how slow the ak205 kills within 10 meters which feels like an absolute pea shooter.
Who is asking for the longer ttk?
(From what I can tell it’s mostly bf1 and bfv players? Rather than bf3,42042 players?)
I know it’s a different genre but games like hell let loose and other more realistic games are still fun despite a extremely short ttk.
Another note is in many battlefields such as 4 the headshot multiplayer could make Ttd feel very inconsistent. In this game most guns require 3 headshots to help which gives a more consistent ttk if the ttk is longer with a headshot multiplier that’s higher it makes the ttk feel less consistent.
My final thought is there’s a lot of casual players in battlefield if I am playing with my friend who’s not very good and he hits someone 4 times at close range why should they be able to get jumped around on like apex or cod and get shi on when they had better positioning and caught the enemy off guard?
Bf3 had a faster ttk, bf4 had faster for the first year of release, hardline was faster, 2042 was pretty close, only the ww1 and 2 battlefields were much slower
If rof or damage changes are made I hope they only apply damage changes to the most powerful weapons then making other stats like ads time better on those, or if rof is adjusted I hope we get more more than a 5-10% reduction to rof.
