The shop I was working in for 23 years recently shut down because of family/lawyer issues. Damn heartbreaking to be honest. I know a guy one town over who's willing to sell me his business. 72 year old dude who has had enough and just wants to retire. I'm not God's gift to auto repair or anything, but I'm a decent wrench. More than two decades of heavy duty equipment and automotive repair experience. I'm good with ordering parts and dealing with customers. I know I could do it, but am I completely fucking insane for even entertaining the thought? Anyone here ever been in a similar situation?
