Howdy. I drive a 2011 Ford Transit Connect XLT. When turning left the TCS light will flicker/flash and the RPM will drop from 2200ish to 1500+/-, and power to wheels totally disengages. No weird noises other than a little revving (feels like I'm in neutral for a few seconds). After correcting to straight and letting off the accelerator and stepping back on, the power re engages and it's fine. Only experiencing this in town going ~10-25mph.

Some car history: 212k miles, bought it at 150k for a box of screws. Previous owner didn't take care of it but I've been babying and fixing things myself as they come up. New serp belt, coolant tank, ac pipe and coolant pump at 190, just did driver cv axle and knuckle (wheel bearing and ball joint preinstalled) two weeks ago. Waiting to do the same on passenger side til I have a little financial cushion (middle of may) and then get an alignment. I do have a little oil leak but it doesn't seem terrible (no big pool underneath the car etc).

Of note and my suspicion: I have had problems with the wheel sensor or abs or some sensor somewhere, and purchased a new tpms when I got new (used) tires in the beginning of April. The pressure light had been on for a couple years due to something faulty, somewhere. Light came back after the new tires were installed and I drove it back to the shop to have them check it. They reset it on and off for about an hour until it finally went away.

Could it just be a bad sensor? How do I diagnose which one? Am I paranoid for suspecting transmission? Again, no strange noises occurring. Car shifts fine. Just a drop in RPM and feels like car goes to neutral for a few seconds until straightening out. I also topped off the power steering fluid after checking all fluids last night and noticing it was extremely low. Drove fine during testing after that but problem is back today.

Thanks so much sorry for the long ass screed!
