I had a varithena procedure last month. I did nothing but the doctor told me according to my ultrasounds, I had no vein problems and the procedure was a success. This is not true. My legs are swollen and look awful. On one leg I have a severe discoloration that I was told was due to
Venous insufficiency. It looks terrible but I don't know what to do about it. How do I find a good vein doctor.
Two weeks ago I had a Varithena procedure on my right leg. Followed post op instuctions and yesterday I had my post op visit. Doctor asked my how my leg felt and I said the same. He looked confused and I told him my calf still had a burning feeling. He said the procedure was a "success" and my ultrasounds show no further treatment was necessary. He suggested I see a neuro doctor for my burning calf. I was stunned. My legs still were swollen and when I walked it felt like liquid was in my legs swishing around. I don't know what to to next. Any suggestions?
