What are some groovy, student-busy, alty-ish and DELISH cafes in Vancouver and on Vancouver island??
Wanting like a matcha-selling, cabinets filled with raw-slices, almond croissants and focaccia sandwiches, waitstaff with cool style, students studying, and lowkey the odd performative female and male reading alone in the corner type of vibe 💋🪭💃 VERY SPECIFIC but if something like this exsists I’m sure you’ll know 🪩🪩

Hello! I’m moving to Vancouver from New Zealand with quite a big drinking, party, boogie culture.
I’m not going to Canada for this reason (OBVI) but would like to have a drink and get a boogie in every once in a while… When looking at FB pages for room rentals, every second post doesn’t want a partying tenant making me think that there is not really a drinking culture… am I right in thinking this and if not (HOPEFULLY🤞), where should I be looking??
Into any type of boogie - love jazz nights, EDM/House/Techno and festivals.
And I want to be meeting locals rather than other tourists!! (But both would be fabulous 👩🍳💋)
(Again reiterating that this isn’t what I’m going to Canada for, but is an aspect of my trip I’d like to experience 💃🪭)
