Decision Fatigue - Sling for carrying iPad plus some more (PD 6L vs Day Sling max 4 vs Toshi 6L vs ???)
Hello friends. I recently changed roles at work and as part of that change, I now will be on my feet a lot and need a sling that can carry an 11” iPad along with a small collection of tech accessories/tools and some of my own personal items. To give an idea of my load out, without the iPad a 2-3L sling would be more than enough for the stuff I need to carry, but because of the iPad I’m having to look at larger (5-6L) models.
I’ve been pouring over reviews, articles and posts in this sub for over 2 weeks now, and the decision fatigue is really setting in. I could use the equivalent of a convincing nudge to point me in the right direction and put this saga to bed.
At this point I’ve narrowed it down to three models:
-Peak Design Everyday Sling V2 6L
-Aer Day Sling Max 4
-Rework Toshi Sling 6L
My needs/priorities:
-Must be as slim/streamlined as possible (I’m only 5’-9” and don’t want to feel like I have a messenger bag draped across me)
-Must fit an 11” iPad Air
-Must be comfortable to wear for long (6-8 hours)
-Must look somewhat corporate friendly (I’ll be interacting with clients/vendors occasionally with this bag and want it to look semi professional)
The first bullet above is what has me hung up the most as I don’t have anywhere near me to try any of these slings in person. I’ve poured over dimensions online but I’m interested to hear first hand experiences from others.
Any recommendations/advice? Also open to other models that might fit the above spec.
