novice reworking things looking for advice
hey yall, so I’m pretty inexperienced in the realm of synthesizers and I’m looking to pare down and buy gear with a bit more intention. I began my journey a couple years ago without any real idea of what I was looking for. Got a Syntakt (thank you resale market), MS-20mini, SQ-1, Roland S-1. I’m really interested in industrial, harsh noise, dark soundscapes…and I’m having difficult realizing a lot of that with what I’ve got. I’m looking into getting a Body Synths’ Metal Fetishist, and thinking along those lines in terms of sound.
I do understand that some of the magic can be found in pushing gear to do what you want it to do, but I’ve found a bit of difficulty with my current setup and would love to hear what yall think. TIA! First post please be nice 🥺
