Hi everyone,

I recently picked up a OLT1832 strimmer from Facebook Marketplace with the seller sayin it was for spares or parts. They claim the motor is fine but “the part that rotates sometimes stops or comes loose”

I like a good ol’ tinker and thought this would be simple, but it does seem like someone has messed with it in the passed.

The motor spins but with a ‘clonk’ and seems very loose - as seen in the video.

The head seems to be screwed on tightly and the motor does spin up under power.

Any ideas what’s up please? Do I need to replace the motor, or the head?

Really appreciate any help or advice, I don’t have the money to replace by trial and error.
