My partner is visiting and has a conference in the city. I am down on the peninsula and want to meet him up there for dinner. I grew up in the bay but have mostly lived elsewhere the last few years. I am back visiting my parents... but I don't have the ins and knowledge that I used to!

I want him to think it's cool here, though! His conference is in Union Square, but happy to transit elsewhere, so not limited. Any food type is okay; he's a pescatarian. Just looking for something fun. Okay, spending some money, just not anything crazy crazy.
