NEED ADVICE ON WHERE TO GO
25M from the US looking into getting a hair transplant in Turkey and honestly feeling pretty overwhelmed by all the options.
I’ve been treating my hair loss for years already (Rogaine/minoxidil, PRP, red light therapy, and now oral finasteride + oral minoxidil), so I’m trying to approach this the right way and not rush into a clinic just because of marketing.
A few things I’m specifically looking for:
- Clinics where the actual surgeon is heavily involved in the procedure
- Natural-looking hairlines (not overly aggressive)
- Good donor management
- Clinics that are reputable long-term, not just social media hype
- Honest experiences from people 1-3+ years post-op
I’m probably somewhere around a Norwood 4-5 and realistic about needing a solid long-term plan, not just a quick cosmetic fix.
If you had your procedure done in Turkey and had a genuinely good experience, I’d really appreciate hearing:
- Which clinic/surgeon you used
- Approx graft count + cost
- How your donor healed
- Whether you’d do it again
- Anything you wish you knew beforehand
Also open to hearing who to avoid.
Thanks in advance.
