long term birth control issues
Hi I’ve been taking the brand Zelleta progestogen-only pill - 75 micrograms for 3-5 years and noticed some issues.
In the last 5 months or so I’ve started having abnormal bleeding towards the end of the month, similar to a period but doesn’t look the same etc and no where near as bad as before i started BC.
Around the same time i will start bloating like crazy and be super uncomfortable, i’ve noticed my mood is quite flat and wondered if this was also a new side effect.
I take it every day, probably missed a pill once or twice the whole time i’ve taken it and don’t take the break (been advised several times by my dr that this is fine!)
Little bit concerned as it’s been so long with no issues and it seemed like the perfect birth control for me until now :(
any suggestions or advice?
