Looking for some advice for a guy possibly getting into corrections in new jersey
I have a family friend who works for bergen county corrections and will supposedly be able to help me get into the academy once they are open for applications again but i also saw that the state was hiring now and i wanted to know if it would be better just to wait it out until bergen is hiring again (they do pay more) or if i should just go to the academy for the state now and then go from there. Im also not really sure of the differences of working for the county or the state other than i believe that the bergen cos are. Any info/advice on getting into nj corrections the best way possible is greatly appreciated thanks🙏
