I recently traded away my do-everything stereo filter. Kind of my go-to for making any lead sound source stereo for the rest of the signal chain. Naturally, my instinct was to immediately start combing the buy/sell/trade thread to find something similar. But maybe I’m jumping back into my old patterns too quickly. I’d love to hear where you break out your signal from mono to stereo (or more)
Do you prioritize having a stereo sound source and run full stereo all the way?
If you start with a mono sound, when in the signal chain is it important to you to make it stereo? Do you make the sound stereo before end-of-chain FX?
When you go from mono to stereo, how do you do it? Volume panning? Stereo modulation of a filter? Some specific module? Or maybe just rely on stereo Fx?
