This is probably a bit of an odd question, but would it be better to have a year gap immediately after training or after a year of experience? My good friend is currently in school to be a welder. She offered to be our surrogate, but that would require taking time off for the pregnancy. She'll finish her certification at the end of this year, but we aren't sure if it would be better for her to immediately begin the surrogacy process and get a job after the pregnancy, or if it would be better for her future job prospects if she could get a year of experience first? Location is Alabama, USA.
