Where's the babies???
The first picture, starring A proud mama widow, was taken on Sunday. What I assume to be her egg sac is clearly visible in her web. The second picture was taken this morning, Tuesday. No egg sac. What could've happened to it? I would imagine there would be some remnant of it had the spiders hatched. There's no sign of the sac. Could something have eaten it? Might the widow have relocated it? Am I completely wrong and it wasn't even an egg sac to begin with?? I'm a bit concerned because this is right by my patio door and I don't want 200 baby widows moving into my house.
