When he was a kitten, I dumbly got one of those cat DNA tests and sent it to his vet, who put it in his chart. It showed a propensity for dental issues, which apparently makes him ineligible for cat insurance!

Last urgent care for a kidney problem was $8,000. He needs $3-4,000 of dental care. Cat care costs are insane! He’s family, so worth it, of course.
