I got a kitten (2 months old) and have an existing cat. I read a lot about slow introductions and keeping separate spaces but the shelter i adopted the kitten from suggested a quick introduction because she is coming from a litter off 10 and has never been alone before. How quick is too quick? Right now I have the kitten set up in her own room and I have a baby gate so they can eventually look at each other and smell each other, any advice?
