Hi all,

I'm a fairly new P&C Engineer working with substation. My office is in the southwest.

Although I acknowledge I don't bring much to the table, I'm concerned with the salary in this industry. I'm over a year into it and I do not make 6 figures yet, and promotions are only 5-7%, if and when they happen.

I'd like to hear from you people out there who have been in this for a while. Do you job hop every now and then? Have you came into this field or changed to another and consider that was the right move?

What has your experience/salary progression looked like? What are your plans...
