My 7’3 hope for the Raptors first round pick
Projected to go around the Raptor’s pick, this guy is a towering rim protector who can shoot, rebound and pass. More mobile than someone his size should be, at only 19 years old with plenty of room to hone his skills.
For those who want BPA, he might have the highest ceiling of anyone outside the top ten. For those who want to draft for team needs, the idea of a quality starting big man for the next decade is too good to pass up.
The NBA also seems to be getting bigger, and Luigi could be one of a handful of guys in the league who could give guys like Wemby problems in the future.
If Scottie and CMB are the two pillars we’re building around, having the Italian unicorn could give the Raptors the best front court around for a long time.
