Side gigs as OTs

Hi everyone, I started working as an OT back in December and 6 months in I am still financially struggling and just need extra income on top of my normal weekly OT schedule. I picked up a PRN position but honestly it’s just not stable. They contact me like once every 2-3 weeks tbh. What are we doing for a couple hours after work that is more independent but still able to make some side money?

Hi everyone I am sure that you have seen a similar post about 5 months ago about new grad pay for OTR in SC. I was never given a dollar amount and was offered $42 an hour in a SNF. I took it finding out that a new grad OT less than a year out started out at $45. I messed up at the time and didn’t know how to negotiate however I was told by DOR what I make is market price and I could have a 3 month eval if I wanted that. I ended up with a $1 more however new grad PT was offered $45 right off the bat. Then I find out a PT who has a contract with us also with less than one year of experience was offered $47 without negotiation. Do PTs really make that much more or am I being taken advantage of and being dramatic? Also DOR said therapists working for 10 years at my facility don’t even make that much ($47 when I brought up how OTs in Georgia are making $47 starting out).
