I recently got an installation done from EBOX (by a Bell technician).
He checked the basement electrical panel and said the installation could not be done there as the wires are "messed up" so he must do the install in the garage.
He installed everything in the garage and informed me that he would contact a different department that would handle "relocating" the modem/router inside the home.
He said it would be around April 24th that they would call me to confirm the appointment.
As no one came or called me today, I called EBOX and Bell to confirm that there was an appointment and to find out the exact time for it.
Upon calling, the service representatives told me that this service used to exist, but it has been discontinued and Bell no longer offers it and they are unsure why the technician told me that.
It's important to me to have the router in a specific place because I have Ethernet connections I need to connect to the router inside the home.
So am I just stuck with the installation and router inside the Garage unless I figure out how to bring it inside myself?
