I’ve had my 23 Kia Sportage since 1/23 brand new & love it & just hit 23k (I hardly drive due to a “failed back surgery” 20 yrs ago) but it has been the most comfortable car that I’ve driven in years!!! But I’ve grown increasingly sick @ tired of the “black piano” gearshift panel that Kia puts in these cars… it’s blinding when the sun beats down on it especially here in Arizona, the constant dirt & water spots on it (I have a 4 yr old Shih Tzu that rides up front with me in her car seat & when I give her water on our rides she drips water from her beard) so I’m constantly trying to get ahead of the water spots but it’s never ending. I recently saw on this site that someone mentioned the “peach wood” cover… so I started looking on Amazon & found it along with the “carbon” version… but it looked just as glossy as the piano version… I looked for “carbon ABS or matte with no fingerprints & the one I found was only for the 2026 model… so from the pictures of the “peach wood” version it looks like it doesn’t have a gloss to it… but it’s hard to tell from just the pictures. I was just looking to see if anyone else has gotten one or the other & their experience as to which was better… I’d hate to order one & it’s not what I’m looking for & have to send it back & start all over again. I truly appreciate any advice on what would work better to cover up this horrible back piano version I’ve lived with for over 3 yrs & now it’s Spring is here already feeling like summer already.
