I’ve been diagnosed about 5 years ago (57f), I was able to control with diet and exercise but on Sunday after my 6 month blood work, my a1c was 13 and my glucose was 580, I spend Sunday night in the ER. my dr decided to start me on nightly insulin. Last night would have been my first injection and I just couldn’t do it. I spent 30 minutes trying and couldn’t do it. It’s not the pain, it’s the actual injecting the needle in my body. How do I get this done?
