Until recently, we had physically separate networks. The root VDOM on each being prod. We just collapsed these down onto a single Fortigate in multi-vdom mode. So, now we have "root" and "non-root", both separate prod VDOMs, each with their own WAN address.

Our sysadmins want to be able to access a VLAN on one VDOM from the other VDOM and vice versa. I'm looking at the inter-vdom routing page on Fortinet, and I'm not sure that I'm barking up the right tree in that the diagrams I'm looking at are showing VLANs routing out of the firewall instead of routing internally. Anyone have any input on this?
