Flying with a 6 month old

I'll be flying solo with my 6 month old son. He'll be on my lap. The flight is a bit over 3 hours, it will be around 9am.

What helped your children and you during flights? Any tips and tricks please 🥺

He's at the stage where he doesn't want to sit, he wants to "stand". Legs straight and everything. I got him a bunch of toys but he loses interest quickly. I know he won't sleep on me, so that's the hard part. He'll throw a tantrum when he's tired. I'll minimize the amount of things I'll have on me. Only the necessities for him, my pump, milk bottles, etc. We'll have a checked bag, and the stroller to get through the airport. Car seat will be provided at the destination since we're staying with family.

I'm already very stressed out about this, and I contemplated going for a long time. My husband will join us on the trip, so flying back will be easier since I'll have his help.

Thank you in advance
