As the title states bought a ring for a gift for my wife. It was advertised as .925 silver. Diamond and star sapphire. Total ring weight is 2 grams. She has small fingers so finding 4.5 is hard. I felt I may have over paid at $180 but its a unique ring. I received it today and checked it out saw 14k stamped on it. Is it gold? Does look to have another number stamped too. Maybe weight of diamonds?
Edit: Just had it check. 2.7 grams total. 14k gold by xray. Used a kitchen scale for my previouly posted weight. Not bad for $180 jewelry guy said he'd give me $140 and the retail value would be $300ish..
