i started competing in august 2025, though i already started cubing way back in 2016. however, i often go on a break, and probably don't practice efficiently, so i haven't improved much.

in 3x3, i average around 16, though i got a 19 ao5 in round 1 and 18 in round 2 (my pr avg!!) in my most recent comp this year.

in terms of 4x4, my main event, i usually average 50-55 at home but got 1:06 average in the same comp (also my pr avg!!)

i might join in the national championship in my country this year (my 3rd comp ever), and i wanna perform just like at home or even better. for context, i start practicing a month before comp (slow & timed solves).

how do i perform well even if my hands get so cold and hpw do i focus on my solve and not overthink much?
