Hey yall I was wondering what are some good camping / hiking / backpacking locations or trails near central California. I’m trying to find places to go with my Boy Scout troop that i volunteer for and AllTrails hasn’t been too big of a help.

Ideally I’d like to get out of the Central Valley and into some more alpine areas but the adults in my troop are hesitant to go more than about a 2-3 hour drive which really sucks.

If you guys have any relatively easy recommendations I’d be really appreciative
