I felt unsure about doing the emma/alice in the first place but after 2 miscarriages and 2 failed euploid transfers our doctor recommended it (with a slightly irritating pitying expression)… 2 strains of lactobacillus found, but 4.07 gardnerella vaginalis bacteria (cut off 3.80). I’ve been prescribed antibiotics for 7 days (metronidazole) and told that “it would be wise” to repeat the biopsy in a month’s time after probiotics. It’s so much money, and it’s even more delay on an already looong process. My doctor hasn’t given me any further opinion or details e.g. how high is my result outside the norm? How effective are antibiotics?

Does anyone know anything that could help to inform my decision? Thank you!!
