Finally got a hitbox
I decided to give competitive SF6 another go. I stopped playing mid-year 2 because I plateaued around platinum 4 and 5.
I always played with a joystick dpad, and I got frustrated because a lot of the matches I lost were because I made an input wrong or didn't make it in time. It was extra hard if I was in the player 2 position. I tried a stick for a while several years back, but I didn't feel it was for me. And recently I started wondering about those hitboxes and decided to give it a try.
I didn't want to throw big bucks on an expensive model in case I didn't get used to it, so I got this badboy guilekeys gk-16 for 70 bucks, and I am mindblowed by how accurate and fast the qc and hf can be with this, and I hate myself a little bit because I didn't try this earlier. I am still getting used to it, but as far as accuracy goes, I am convinced I can reach master with a hitbox.
That being said, what difference would I notice if I got one of those expensive ones, if any? Or is the main difference in how long this lasts?
